Town Board schedules solar moratorium public hearing

NY STAFFORD — Stafford Town Board schedules hearing on six-month solar moratorium. The board voted unanimously to hold a public hearing September 14 at 7:00 p.m. on the proposed moratorium on new solar energy projects, intended to allow time for comprehensive zoning changes addressing community concerns. The board also unanimously approved Jennifer Lewis as Second Deputy Clerk at $18 per hour (not to exceed $13,500 annually, effective August 11) and authorized application for a $30,000 Judicial Court Assistance Program grant.
Multiple routine resolutions passed including acceptance of the Genesee County Multi-Jurisdictional All-Hazard Mitigation Plan.
